Colorado is weird in a friendly sort of way—everybody is so nice! We were here for a few days and I had some time to roam around and take pictures in the hills near Boulder. It was a good day all around and that evening we decided to go to some place for dinner. The restaurant we originally chose, was packed to the gills and very noisy so we decided to look somewhere else on Pearl Street (the main drag). We found a spot right at the end where we had a so so meal. I thought it would be nice to take some shots on the way back to the hotel so I brought my camera with me. Unfortunately, when we went outside after eating, it was raining so we ended up taking a cab back to the hotel. I was disappointed but what the hell—there were days like this. As we got out of the cab at the hotel, Sharon said she wanted something sweet so we asked the doorman if there was a convenience sore around and he directed us to a place a few blocks away. She found a chocolate bar and as I was paying, this guy next to me mentions something about my camera. Since I could no longer play the voyeur (my cover was blown), I did the next best thing and asked him if I could take his picture. “Sure” he said and lifted up his shirt to show me his abs. Bingo!
